President Jokowi Inspects Learning Process at Pekalongan School

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (12/13) inspected the learning process at 1 Kedungwuni State Vocational School in Pekalongan regency, Central Java province.

Upon arrival at around 12:15 Western Indonesian Time (WIB), President Jokowi entered several classes, including classes of mechanical engineering, light vehicle engineering, and computer network engineering.

Head of Mechanical Engineering Department of the school Rino Sukarno said that the President expressed appreciation toward the school equipment for learning activities.

Bapak President noted that our equipment is good and can be further upgraded,” Rino said.

One of the students Dika Rizki said he was happy to be able to lend his hat when President Jokowi had a dialogue with the students in the school field.

“I idolized him since five years ago,” Dika added.

In the dialogue, the President told all the students to study hard for a good future and he promised an electric car to support practical learning activities.

“I will buy an electric car for the automotive department, and I will send it today or tomorrow morning at most,” President Jokowi remarked. (BPMI Presidential Secretariat/UN) (GWH/EP)
