President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Thursday (4/6) inspected the Baiturrahim mosque at the Presidential Palace to ensure the readiness of the mosque for the new normal implementation.

“In the near future, the Baiturrahim mosque will be open for both congregational prayers and munfarid prayers,” the President said after inspecting the mosque.

According to the President, the mosque has been cleaned by using disinfectant and has been equipped with signs for physical distancing, adding that the mosque is also expected to be ready for the Friday prayer.

“We hope if Friday prayer has been performed again at the mosque, the new normal is ready to be implemented here,” the President said. (FID/EN)
