President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo installed I Dewa Kade Wiarsa Raka Sandi as a member of the General Elections Commission (KPU) for the 2017-2022 term, at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (15/4).

The installment is based on Decree of President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 38/P of 2020 on ratification of the appointment of member of the General Elections Commission (KPU) which was promulgated in Jakarta on 13 April 2020.

On the same occasion, President Jokowi also inaugurated Benny Ramdhani as Head of the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers Agency (BP2MI) based on Decree of President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 72/PPA of 2020 on appointment of high-ranking state official at the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers Agency.

After recitation of the Presidential Decree, the two newly-appointed officials signed the inauguration ceremony minutes and receive congratulations from President Jokowi and guests attending the ceremony. (TGH/EN)
