President Joko Jokowi Widodo accompanied by Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung attended an iftar (communal fast-breaking) dinner hosted by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), at Golden Ballroom, Sultan Hotel Jakarta, Friday (24/5).
The event adopting a theme Lets Foster Good Relationship towards Glorious Indonesia began with a discussion with Kadin officials that resulted in a number of hopes and expectations for commerce and industry sector in facing various challenges in business world.
Upon the Presidents arrival at 05.15 p.m. Western Indonesian Time, he was welcomed by the Chairman of Kadin Rosan P. Roeslani. Before the iftar dinner, President Jokowi and a number of guests performed maghrib prayer in congregation. The dinner ended with a photo session with the President.
Also attending the event were, among others, a number of Working Cabinet Ministers, central and regional managements of Kadin, members of business associations, and Ambassadors of friendly countries. (FID/JAY/ES)
