President Jokowi Kicks Off Aceh, N. Sumatra Working Visits

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, on Thursday (16/09), left for Aceh province for a working visit.

The President and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 06.30 Western Indonesian Time using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.

Upon arrival at Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport, Aceh Besar regency, the President is slated to visit Lambro Bileu village, Kuta Baro regency, to inspect door-to-door vaccination drive.

In addition, the President is also slated to inspect vaccination drive for students and Islamic students to be held at Istiqamatuddin Darul Mu’arrif Islamic Boarding School, Aceh Besar regency.

Afterward, the President is scheduled to deliver directives at the Aceh Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) at Anjong Mon Mata, Aceh Governor’s Hall Complex, Banda Aceh city.

In the afternoon, the President will depart for North Sumatra province, using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft via Iskandar Muda International Airport.

Arriving at Kualanamu International Airport, Deli Serdang regency, the President is slated to visit Hamlet 1, Emplasmen Kuala Namu village, Beringin subdistrict, Deli Serdang regency, to inspect door-to-door vaccination drive.

Subsequently, the President will also visit State Vocational High School SMKN Beringin 1, Deli Serdang regency, to inspect vaccination drive for students.

Before returning to Jakarta, the President will deliver directives at the North Sumatra Forkopimda at Tengku Rizal Nurdin Hall, Medan City. (BPMI/UN) (FI/MUR)
