President Jokowi Kicks Off C. Java Working Visit

Presiden Jokowi starts his working visit to East Java, last week.

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Tuesday (30/6) departed for Central Java Province for a working visit.

The President and his entourage left Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, aboard the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at around 08.10 a.m. Western Indonesian Time and landed at Ahmad Yani International Airport, Semarang City.

Upon arrival, the President went to the Covid-19 Central Java Province handling and management post located at the Gradhika Bhakti Praja Building of Central Java Governor’s Office Complex. At the post, he will give directives for integrated Covid-19 handling in the province through a video conference.

Then, the President is scheduled to visit Batang Integrated Industrial Zone. In addition to inspection, the President will also listen to presentations related to the relocation of foreign investment to Indonesia.

Afterwards, President Jokowi will also inspect labour-intensive projects in Batang Regency. In his inspection, the President will be accompanied by Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono.

In the afternoon, the President and his entourage are scheduled to inspect an export-oriented furniture factory in Demak Regency, before returning to Jakarta. (BPMI/EN)
