President Jokowi Kicks Off C. Sulawesi Working Visit
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Thursday (02/24) headed to Central Sulawesi province for a working visit.
The President and his entourage took off from Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten province onboard the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at around 15.00 Western Indonesian Time.
Upon arrival at Mutiara SIS Al Jufrie Airport in Central Sulawesi provincial capital of Palu, President Jokowi went straight to the hotel, where he stayed the night before continuing his agenda the next day.
During this working visit, the President is slated to inspect COVID-19 vaccination drive in Palu city and Poso regency. The President is also scheduled to inaugurate a number of hydroelectric power plants (PLTA) in the regency.
The President and his entourage are also expected to visit North Sulawesi province to inaugurate Danowudu-Bitung section of the Manado-Bitung Toll Road and inspect COVID-19 vaccination drive in Bitung city.
Also joining the President during the visit were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno and Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (FI/EP)
