President Jokowi Kicks Off Central Java Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (06/08) kicked off a working visit to Central Java province.

The President and his entourage took off from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten province at around 07.00 Western Indonesian time onboard Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.

Shortly upon arrival at Ahmad Yani Army Air Base in the Central Java capital of Semarang, the President will head to Batang Integrated Industry Region in Batang regency where he is slated to attend the stage two implementation ceremony of integrated electric battery industry.

Afterward, the President is set to visit Omah Tani Square in Batang regency to attend a thanksgiving ritual for good harvest organized by Social Forestry Community Movement.

The President will then return to Ahmad Yani Army Air Base to fly back to Jakarta.

After arriving at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the President is scheduled to inaugurate At-Taufiq Mosque located in Lenteng Agung urban village, South Jakarta.

The President will then head back to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to fly to the Southeast Sulawesi provincial capital of Kendari.

Joining the President in his flight to Central Java province were First Lady Ibu Iriana, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya Bakar, and Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (DH/MMB)
