President Jokowi Kicks Off E. Java Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Tuesday (7/9) headed to East Java province for a working visit.

The President and his entourage departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, on Presidential Aircraft at 08.00 Western Indonesian Time (WIB).

Upon his arrival at Iswahjudi Air Force Base, Magetan regency, the President is slated to inspect COVID-19 vaccination for students to be held at vocational high school (SMK) PGRI 2 Ponorogo and at the K.H Syamsuddin Islamic Boarding School. Afterward, the President will greet participants of vaccination program organized by a number of places of worship throughout the country.

On this working visit, the President is also scheduled to inspect and inaugurate Bendo Dam in Bendo village, Sawoo sub-district, Ponorogo regency.

Later in the afternoon, he will head to Blitar city on Air Force’s helicopter to inspect mass vaccination at the Center for Tourism and Trade Information (PIPP) before returning to Jakarta.(Presidential Secretariat) (RAS/MMB)
