President Jokowi Kicks Off N. Kalimantan Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (19/10) headed to North Kalimantan province for a working visit.

The President took off from Halim Perdana Kusuma air force base in East Jakarta with a limited entourage onboard Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at around 07.30 Western Indonesia time.

Shortly after arriving at Anang Busra Air Force Base in Tarakan city, the President is slated to continue his trip using the Air Force’s Super Puma helicopter and a speed boat to go to Tana Tidung regency.

In Bebatu village, Tana Tidung regency, the President is scheduled to plant mangroves with ambassadors, environmental activists, and local communities.

Afterward, the President and his entourage will return to Tarakan city to inspect door-to-door vaccination in Karang Rejo urban village and vaccination for students at state junior high school SMPN 1 Tarakan.

To conclude his working visit, the President is set to give aids to street vendors in Sebengkok Culinary Area in Tarakan city.
