President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Wednesday (01/18) headed for North Sulawesi province for a working visit.

Aboard the Presidential aircraft, President Jokowi, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung and the entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 18.30 Western Indonesia Time.

Upon arrival at Sam Ratulangi International Airport in the provincial capital of Manado, the President was greeted by North Sulawesi Governor Olly Dondokambey and high ranking officials.

On Thursday (01/19), President Jokowi is slated to carry out several activities during his working visit.

The President will visit Pinasungkulan market in Manado to hand over social assistance to market traders.

Afterwards, the President is scheduled to visit North Minahasa regency to distribute social assistance to traders at Airmadidi market and inaugurate Kuwil Kawangkoan Dam.

In the afternoon, the President will visit Likupang area, and inspect Nirmala Bahari vessel at Munte port, North Minahasa regency. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN/AIT) (RI/EP)
