President Jokowi Kicks Off S. Sulawesi Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (23/11) headed to South Sulawesi province for a working visit accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto.

The President took off at 07.30 Western Indonesia time onboard the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta.

Shortly upon arrival at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Maros regency, President Jokowi and his entourage will continue their trip to Gowa regency using the Air Force’s Super Puma Helicopter.

In Gowa regency, President Jokowi is slated to inaugurate Karalloe Dam located in Tompobulu sub-district. On that occasion, the President will open the water valve and sign an inscription to mark the inauguration of Karalloe Dam.

Afterward, the President is scheduled to visit Jeneponto regency to plant corns with farmers and local communities. Once the corn planting is finished, the President and his entourage will head back to Maros regency with Super Puma Helicopter.

In the afternoon, President Jokowi will return to Jakarta using Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft from Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (DH/MUR)
