President Jokowi Kicks Off South Kalimantan Working Visit
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, Thursday (21/10) headed to South Kalimantan province for a working visit.
The President took off with his entourage onboard Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at around 07.30 Western Indonesia time from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta.
Shortly after arriving at Syamsudin Noor Air Force Base in Banjarbaru city, the President is slated to continue his trip using the Air Force’s Super Puma helicopter to Tanah Bumbu regency where he will inaugurate a biodiesel factory.
After the inauguration of biodiesel factory, the President is scheduled to inspect vaccination at Dr. H. Moch. Ansari Saleh General Hospital in the South Kalimantan capital Banjarmasin. The President will also greet vaccination participants in several regencies and cities in the province through a video conference.
Before returning to Jakarta, the President will inspect and inaugurate Sei Alalak bridge in Banjarmasin city.
Joining the President during the visit to South Kalimantan province are Minister of State Secretary Pratikno and Minister of State-Owned Enterprise Erick Thohir. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (DH/LW)
