President Jokowi Kicks Off Southeast Sulawesi Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Sunday (05/12) headed to Southeast Sulawesi for a working visit onboard Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.

The President and his entourage took off at around 13.00 Western Indonesia Time from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta province.

Upon arrival in South Konawe regency, the President is scheduled to carry out a series of work agendas, which include inaugurating the implementation of Presidential Instructions on Regional Roads (IJD Inpres) program in Southeast Sulawesi and the inauguration of the Ameroro Dam.

On the second day of his working visit, the President headed to Muna regency from Haluoleo Indonesian Air Force Base in South Konawe regency using the Indonesian Air Force’s Super Puma helicopter at 08.35 Central Indonesia Time.

At the Alun-Alun Raha helipad in Muna regency, President Jokowi will proceed directly to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) dr. H.L.M. Baharuddin, M.Kes., to inspect health facilities and services they provided.

Following that, the President is slated to visit the Laino Raha Central Market to check the prices of basic commodities and to distribute social assistance to local traders.

President Jokowi will also check rice supplies and hand over food assistance to the local community at the Laende Warehouse Complex in the regency.

In the afternoon, President Jokowi will proceed with activities in West Muna regency. The Head of State is scheduled to visit the Kambara People’s Market in West Muna regency before inaugurating the implementation of the IJD Inpres in the province.

To conclude his agenda, the President will travel to Sugimanuru Airport in West Muna regency and depart back to Haluoleo Indonesian Air Force Base in South Konawe regency onboard the Indonesian Air Force’s Super Puma helicopter. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (RIF/MUR)
