President Jokowi Kicks Off Subang Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (07/12) headed to the West Jawa regency of Subang for a working visit.

The President and his entourage took off from Atang Sendjaja Air Force Base in Bogor regency onboard the Air Force’s Super Puma helicopter at 07.30 Western Indonesian time.

Upon arrival at the helipad at Sang Hyang Seri Housing Complex square in Subang regency, the President will visit Sukamandi Market to distribute social assistance to beneficiaries of Family Hope Program (PKH) and market vendors.

Afterward, the Head of State is slated to inspect the collection and conservation of rice germplasms, rice seed production unit, as well as rice varieties and innovation products of Ministry of Agriculture at the Indonesian Center for Rice Research (BBPadi).

The President is also scheduled to have a dialogue with representatives of farmers.

The President will then head back to Sang Hyang Seri Housing Complex square helipad to return to Jakarta onboard the same helicopter.

Joining the President during the working visit are Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (DH/HD/EP)
