President Jokowi Kicks Off W. Nusa Tenggara Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi Thursday (01/13) headed to West Nusa Tenggara for a working visit.

The President and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta onboard Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at around 07.00 Western Indonesia time.

Shortly upon arrival at Zainuddin Abdul Majid International Airport in Central Lombok sub-district, Lombok Island, the President is slated to inspect a number of airport facilities that will be used for the 2022 MotoGP racing events.

After the inspection, President Jokowi and his entourage will continue their trip to the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ) to inspect the readiness of Mandalika SEZ Bypass Road and a number of supporting facilities.

Afterwards, the Head of State is scheduled to inaugurate the launch of Tourism and Supporting SOEs Holding Companies (InJourney Holding) at Kuta Mandalika Beach.

In the afternoon, the President will hold a Cabinet Limited Meeting and inspect the MSMEs area in the Mandalika Bazaar, Central Lombok regency.

Also joining the President and First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi during the visit were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno and Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (RIF/LW)
