President Jokowi Kicks Off West Nusa Tenggara Working Visit
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (06/20) kicked off West Nusa Tenggara working visit, accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo.
The President and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta onboard Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at approximately 06.30 Western Indonesian time.
Upon arrival in Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport in Central Lombok regency, West Nusa Tenggara province, the President and the First Lady are slated to continue their travel to West Sumbawa regency onboard the Air Force’s Super Puma Helicopter.
In West Sumbawa, the President is set to inspect the smelter construction project of PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT), the second largest copper and gold mining company in Indonesia.
Joining the President and the First Lady in this visit are Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif, and Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir.
