President Jokowi Kicks Start W. Kalimantan Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi Tuesday (08/09) departed for West Kalimantan province for a working visit.

The President and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, at around 07.00 western Indonesian time using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.

Upon arrival at Supadio International Airport, Kubu Raya regency, the President is slated to continue his journey using the Indonesian Air Force’s Super Puma helicopter to inaugurate Kijing Terminal at Pontianak Port in Mempawah regency.

Furthermore, President Jokowi is scheduled to go to Sungai Duri Market in Bengkayang regency to hand over social assistances to beneficiaries including the surrounding community and market sellers.

In addition, the President is then scheduled to go back to the Airport and continue the visit to Pontianak city to inaugurate tower A and tower B of dr. Soedarso Regional Public Hospital in the afternoon

After the series of activities, the President and Ibu Iriana will return to Jakarta. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (FI/LW)
