President Jokowi Meets Coalition Political Parties Chairpersons

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (06/15) received General Chairperson of the coalition political parties at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta ahead of the inauguration of a number of ministers and deputy ministers.

Attended on the meeting, among others, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, General Chairperson of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle Megawati Soekarnoputri, General Chairperson of the Democratic National Party Surya Paloh, General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto, General Chairperson of the Golkar Party Airlangga Hartarto, General Chairperson of the National Mandate Party Zulkifli Hasan, General Chairperson of the Nation’s Awakening Party Muhaimin Iskandar, and General Chairperson of the Development Union Party Suharso Monoarfa.

The meeting went well in a friendly atmosphere. For the record, this afternoon the President will inaugurate a number of ministers and deputy ministers of the Indonesia Onward Cabinet for the remaining period of 2019-2024. (BPMI/UN) (EST/LW)
