On the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo met with his Singaporean counterpart Prime Minister (PM) Lee Hsien Loong at the Sofitel Hotel, Phnom Penh, Thursday (11/10).

Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi stated that several matters were discussed by both leaders such as matters regarding the G20, Myanmar as well as plans for the Leaders’ Retreat next year.

“Regarding the G20, Singapore expressed its full support for Indonesia’s G20 Presidency and Singapore’s PM again confirmed that he would attend the G20 Summit as one of the invitees,” the Minister said.

On Myanmar’s current situation, she said, the two leaders expressed their disappointment over the lack of commitment by the Myanmar military junta in implementing the Five-Point Consensus.
