President Jokowi: New Health Law Aims to Reform Health Services

The newly passed Health Law aims to reform health sector, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has stated.

“We hope that the Health Law, that has been evaluated by the House of Representatives (DPR), will accelerate reforms in our health services,” the President said in a press conference after the inauguration of Cisumdawu toll road, Sumedang regency, West Java province, Tuesday (07/11).

The President also expressed hope that the Health Law will overcome the shortage of health workers immediately.

For the record, the House of Representatives passed the Health Bill during a plenary meeting on Tuesday (07/11).

In the meantime, the President also stated that the Government will deliver a statement in response to the Village Bill, which is under deliberation in the DPR. (TGH/UN) (RI/MMB)
