President Jokowi Off to Karawang for Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (05/08) left for Karawang regency, West Java province, for a working visit.

The Head of State took off using the Airforce’s Super Puma helicopter at around 07:20 Western Indonesian Time from Atang Sendjaja Airforce Base, Bogor regency.

Upon arrival at the Aquaculture Production Business Service Center in North Pusakajaya village of Karawang regency, President Jokowi is scheduled to immediately head to the inauguration site of saline tilapia modelling aquaculture area.

Afterward, President Jokowi is set to carry out the first harvest of saline tilapia at the location and head to Pasar Baru traditional market, Karawang regency, to inspect the availability and prices of staple food. (BPMI Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (GWH/MMB)
