President Jokowi Off to Maluku Province for Working Visit

President Jokowi and Ibu Iriana take off from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft, Wednesday (09/14)

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo are off to Maluku province on Wednesday (09/14) for a working visit.

At around 07.00 West Indonesian Time, the President took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.

Upon arrival at Karel Sadsuitubun Langgur Airport in Southeast Maluku regency, The President and Ibu Iriana will head to the Wear Fair Bridge, which connects Tual city and Southeast Maluku regency.

Furthermore, at the Tual Post Office, President Jokowi will distribute Fuel Cash Assistance and basic necessities to the beneficiary communities. The President will also visit Tual Market in Tual city to hand over social assistance to market traders.

The President is scheduled to inspect the fish processing unit at Samudera Indo Sejahtera (SIS) in the afternoon. He is also scheduled to meet with fishermen and seaweed cultivators in the same location.
