President Jokowi Offers Condolences and Sympathies over Corona Victims in China

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo expressed condolences and sympathies to his counterpart President of the Republic of China Xi Jinping through a phone call over victims of Coronavirus occurred in China.

“I contacted President Xi last night (Tuesday),” President Jokowi said to reporters at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (12/2).

During the phone call, President Jokowi stated that Indonesia will always stand together with China through such difficult times like this.

“I also said that Indonesia believes that China could resolve the issue in the shortest time possible, while offering assistance if needed to speed up the handling process,” the President said. (FID/EN)
