President Jokowi Opens Inacraft 2022

President Jokowi Wednesday (03/23) at the Opening of Inacraft 2022 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta.

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (03/23) opened the 22nd Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (Inacraft) 2022 held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta.

“By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I hereby officially open the 2022 Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (Inacraft),” the President said during the opening of the event, which adopts the theme “Smiling Heritage of West Java; From Smart Village to Global Market”.

On that occasion, the President urged the people to love domestic handicraft products, which can support business development of craftspeople, especially in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

“I’d like to invite the public to love domestically made products, especially handicraft products. This will support the progress of our craftspeople, the progress of our MSMEs,” he said, while expressing his appreciation for the committee in holding of the fair.

“Congratulations on the reconvening of Inacraft. The 2022 Inacraft showcases good quality handicraft products created by our craftspeople,” he remarked.

For the record, after two years break of hiatus, Inacraft is now back in 2022. The largest handicraft fair in Southeast Asia is attended by 722 participants, consisting of 510 individual participants, 169 participants assisted by agencies, and 43 participants assisted by SOEs.
