President Jokowi Participates in Data Verification Process for 2024 General Elections

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo participated in the matching and verification process of voter data for the 2024 General Elections at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday (03/14).

The matching and verification process was carried out by a voter data updating officer from Gambir urban village.

“The purpose of my visit here is to conduct a matching and verification process regarding that Mr. (President’s) name is registered at polling station number 10, Gambir urban village. Is it true that you are domiciled here, Sir?” asked the officer, Feby Azza Nurhakim.

“Yes, it is true, I am, Joko Widodo, domiciled here,” the President firmly replied.

Furthermore, President Jokowi showed his identity card (KTP) and family card (KK) to be verified with the existing data. After the completion of verification process, the President a received proof of registration and a sticker to be affixed at the door of the palace.

“Thank you, Sir. With this, you and I have completed the verification and research process for the 2024 elections. This is the proof and sticker of registration, Sir,” Feby confirmed.

In his statement after completing the process, the President stated that he and First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi have been officially registered as voters in the 2024 General Elections. The President also appealed to the public to immediately check their voter data on the official website of the General Elections Commission (KPU).

“I call on all people to check their names on the KPU website, if they have not been registered, immediately report to the nearest Regional Election Commission (KPUD),” the President remarked. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (FI/HD/MUR)
