President Jokowi Pays Working Visit to Pandeglang

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo paid a working visit to Pandeglang, Banten Province to review disaster management at Panimbang Jaya 1 Elementary School and to attend Disaster Preparedness Team (Tagana) Briefing.

The President arrived at the location at 9 a.m. and inspected the disaster management training received by the students. Afterwards, the President had a conversation with several students as well as teachers and took a group photo.

The disaster management aims to reduce the impact of natural disasters including earthquake and tsunami. During the training, the students were trained how to protect themselves in case of disasters, such as to protect their head, to hide under the table, to move away from windows, and to gather at an evacuation assembly point.  (DND/OJI/ANT/ES)
