President Jokowi, PM Lee Witness Signing of 4 Agreements

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Tuesday (01/25) witnessed the signing of four agreements between Indonesia and Singapore.

The four signed agreements are as follows:

First, the Exchange of Letters on the Expansion of the Indonesia-Singapore Discussion Framework. The signing was carried out by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security of the Republic of Singapore Teo Chee Hean.

Second, the agreement between the Government of Indonesia and the Government of the Republic of Singapore on Restructuring the Scope between the Indonesia’s Flight Information Region (FIR) and the Singapore’s Flight Information Region signed by Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Budi Karya Sumadi and Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Singapore S. Iswaran.

Third, the Agreement between the Government of Indonesia and the Government of Singapore regarding the Fugitives Extradition signed by Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Yasonna Laoly and Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Law of the Republic of Singapore K. Shanmugam.

Fourth, the Joint Statement of Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Singapore signed by Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Singapore Ng Eng Hen.

The two countries have also signed six other agreements, namely the Extension of Bilateral Financial Arrangement, Memorandum of Understanding on Energy Cooperation, Memorandum of Understanding to Expand Cross-Central Banking Cooperation, Financial Regulation and Innovation, Memorandum of Understanding on Financial and Economic Cooperation, Memorandum of Understanding on Bilateral Partnership for Green and Circular Economic Development, and HR Partnership Agreement (FID/UN) (RI/MMB)
