President Jokowi Receives LC from Ten New Ambassadors

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Thursday (08/08) at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, received Letters of Credence (LC) from ten new Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Following the arrival of the new Ambassadors at the Merdeka Palace, military officials welcomed them with military honors.

The credential ceremony then commenced with the reverberation of the national anthem of each country.

Afterwards, the Ambassadors submitted their respective Letters of Credence to President Jokowi, followed by a photo session.

The ten new Ambassadors comprising of those assigned in Indonesia and abroad, are as follows:

  1. Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abdul Kadir, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary- Designate Resident of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Indonesia;
  2. Dagmar Gonzales Grau, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary- Designate Resident of Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Indonesia;
  3. Mohamed Trabelsi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary- Designate Resident of Republic of Tunisia to the Republic of Indonesia;
  4. Sergei G Tolchenov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary- Designate Resident of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Indonesia;
  5. Tanya Dimitrova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary- Designate Resident of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Indonesia;
  6. Simon Namiss, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary- Designate Resident of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea to the Republic of Indonesia;
  7. Kamala Shirin Lakhdhir, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary- Designate Resident of the United States of America to the Republic of Indonesia;
  8. Darius Gaidys, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary- Non-designate Resident of the Republic of Lithuania, residing in Singapore;
  9. Biljana Stefanovska, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary- Non-designate Resident of the Republic of North Macedonia, residing in Canberra; and
  10. Marko Ham, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary- Non-designate Resident of the Republic of Slovenia, residing in Canberra.
