President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Friday (03/04) reminded the people to file their annual tax returns (SPT) before the deadline.

On that occasion, the President also filed his SPT through e-filling application at the Bogor Presidential Palace in West Java province.

“My fellow citizens who have yet to file the annual personal income tax return through e-filling online application, please remember that the deadline is March, 31 2022,” he said.

The Head of State added that the SPT reporting using online e-filling application makes the process much easier since taxpayers can fill it anytime and anywhere without having to do it at local tax offices.

The President went on to say that taxes collected from the people will greatly support various development programs, including economic recovery program, people’s purchasing power recovery program, health recovery program, and vaccination program.

Also accompanying President Jokowi in the occasion were Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani and Ministry of Finance’s Director General of Taxes Suryo Utomo. (Presidential Secretariat/UN) (RAS/EP)
