President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Sunday (14/6) expressed condolences over the passing of former Army chief of staff (KSAD) General (ret.) Pramono Edhie Wibowo.

Wibowo died at the age of 65 years.

“On behalf of the Government and all the Indonesian people, I’d like to extend my deepest condolences over the passing of the Indonesian Army General (ret.) Pramono Edhie Wibowo. He passed away at the age of 65 years old,” President Jokowi said at Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java Province, Sunday (14/6).

“My thoughts and prayers to the late General (ret.) Pramono Edhie Wibowo’s and to the bereaved family May Allah grant him the highest place in heaven,” the President added.

The funeral of the late Pramono Edhie Wibowo is set to take place at Kalibata Heroes Cemetery in South Jakarta on Sunday (14/6). (BPMI / EN)
