President Jokowi Signs Regulation on Collective Leave for Civil Aparatus
President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has issued Presidential Regulation Number 16 of 2023 on Second Amendment to Presidential Regulation Number 24 of 2022 on Collective Leave for State Apparatus in 2023.
The Presidential Regulation, which can be accessed through Cabinet Secretariat’s legal documents and information network (JDIH), is issued to improve safety, security, and mobility during this year’s Eid al-Adha and is expected to give more opportunities for parents and children to have quality time together during the school holiday and promote tourism to boost economic growth.
Following is the list of collective leaves in 2023 according to the Presidential Regulation 16 of 2023:
- Monday, January 23, 2023, collective leave on Chinese New Year;
- Thursday, March 23, 2023, collective leave on Nyepi Day;
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday, April 19, 20, 21, 24, and 25, 2023, collective leave on Eid al-Fitr;
- Friday, June 2, 2023, collective leave on Vesak Day;
- Wednesday and Friday, June 28 and 30, 2023, collective leave on Eid al-Adha;
- Tuesday, December 26, 2023, collective leave on Christmas Day
“The Presidential Regulation began to take effect from the date of promulgation,” the regulation signed by President Jokowi on June 22 states. (UN)(AW/EP)
