President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has instructed his cabinet ministers and heads of non-ministerial government agencies to immediately follow up on the results of his state visit to Saudi Arabia last week.

“First, an additional 10,000 Hajj quota. Second, Saudi Arabia’s plan to boost its investment in Indonesia,” the President said in his introductory remarks before a limited meeting on the Follow-up of the President’s Visit to Saudi Arabia, at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Thursday (18/4).

According to the President, both aspects must be immediately followed up, particularly Saudi Arabia’s plan to boost investment in Indonesia. “Saudi Arabia wants to make Indonesia a hub for its petrochemical industry in Southeast Asia,” said the President. (RAH/JAY/ES)
