President Jokowi to Attend ISEI Congress, Inaugurate Toll Road in Central Java

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Thursday, September 19, 2024 headed for Central Java province for a working visit.

The Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft carrying out the President and his entourage took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 08.00 Western Indonesian Time.

During the working visit, the President is slated to attend several events, including the opening ceremony of the Indonesian Economists Association (ISEI) Congress and the 2024 National Seminar held at Alila Hotel, Surakarta city, Central Java province.

“President Jokowi will also inaugurate the Solo-Yogyakarta-YIA Kulonprogo Toll Road, namely the Section I from Kartasura to Klaten. The ceremony will be held at the Banyudono Toll Gate, Boyolali regency, Central Java province,” Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana stated in his written statement.
