President Jokowi to Chair Four Meetings on the Third Day of 43rd ASEAN Summit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, Thursday (09/07) will chair four meetings on the third day of the 43rd ASEAN Summit held in Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta. President Jokowi is scheduled to conduct a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea James Marape at Kakatua Room, JCC.

In the same place, President Jokowi will also conduct a bilateral meeting with Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres. Afterwards, President Jokowi will chair the 20th ASEAN-India Summit participated by leaders of ASEAN countries and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi as a partner country.

Later, President Jokowi and the leaders of ASEAN countries and partners will attend the 18th East Asian Summit held at Cendrawasih 3 Room, JCC. In the afternoon, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese.

Following the meeting, the President and the leaders of ASEAN countries are scheduled to attend the 3rd ASEAN-Australia Summit with PM Albanese and the 13th ASEAN-United Nations Summit with Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres. After all the meetings, President Jokowi will officially close the 43rd ASEAN Summit.

In the evening, The President will be slated to hold bilateral meeting with Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida. After that, he will be scheduled to give a press statement to the media regarding the series of 43rd ASEAN Summit meetings conducted for three days in Jakarta.
