President Jokowi to Distribute Social Forest Decrees, TORA Decrees, Land Certificates in N. Sumatra

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, Thursday (02/03), kicked off the second day of his working visit to North Sumatra province by crossing from Ambarita Harbor in Samosir regency to Ajibata Harbor in Toba regency onboard Kaldera Toba passenger motorboat at around 08.00 western Indonesia time.

From Ajibata Harbor, the President will go to Sibisa Airport in Toba regency to head to Humbang Hasundutan Regent’s Office using the Air Force’s Super Puma helicopter.

In Humbang Hasundutan regency, the President is scheduled to plant trees in Sumangulampe village, Bakti Raja sub-district and distribute Decrees of Social Forest and Land Objects for Agrarian Reform (TORA) not far from the tree-planting area.

Afterward, the President will head back to the Regent’s Office to visit Sidikalang Main Stadium in Dairi regency onboard the same helicopter.

The Head of State will also visit Sudirman Field to hand out land certificates for the people.

The President is also set to distribute direct cash assistance to merchants at Sidikalang Central Market before taking off to Soewondo Air Force Base in the North Sumatra capital of Medan using the helicopter.

Joining the President in this working visit are Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, and Governor of North Sumatra Edy Rahmayadi.
