President Jokowi to Hand Over Social Assistance in Maluku

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo on Thursday (15/09) started the second day of the working visit in Maluku Province by visiting Langgur market in Southeast Maluku regency.

On the market, the President and the First Lady will hand over social assistance to the beneficiaries in the market.

After that, the President, the First Lady, and a limited entourage will go to Karel Sadsuitubun Airport, Southeast Maluku regency, and visit Aru Islands regency using the ATR 72-500 aircraft.

After arriving at Rar Gwamar Airport, Aru Islands regency, the President and the First Lady would visit Jargaria Market to hand over social assistance to market traders and street vendors. The President will also hand over social assistance in the forms of cash assistance and basic necessities to beneficiaries at the Dobo Post Office.

Afterward, the President and the First Lady will return to Rar Gwamar Airport to have a flight to Jos Orno Imsula Airport, Southwest Maluku regency. The President will go directly to the Kalwedo People’s Market to hand over social assistance to market traders and street vendors.

The President will also hand over social assistance in the forms of cash assistance and basic necessities to the beneficiaries at the Tiakur Sub-Branch Post Office. The President is also slated to visit Werwaru Village to meet and have a dialogue with buffalo cattlemen.

In the afternoon, the President and Ibu Iriana will have a flight to Pattimura International Airport, Ambon city, and then return to Jakarta. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (RI/LW)
