President Jokowi Kicks Off W. Java Working Visit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo kicked off a two-day working visit in West Java province.

President Jokowi and First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi Sunday (03/05) arrived at Husein Sastranegara Air Force Base, Bandung city, West Java province at around 11.30 a.m.Western Indonesian Time (WIB).

Upon arrival, the President and his entourage were greeted by West Java Deputy Governor Uu Ruzhanul Ulum, Military Commander III/Siliwangi Major General Kunto Arief Wibowo, Chief of West Java Regional Police Inspector General Police Suntana, and the Husein Sastranegara Air Base Commander Colonel Pilot Ardi Syahri.

The President is slated to visit Baleendah Market in Bandung regency to greet market traders and hand over social assistance to the traders.

In addition, the President is also scheduled to inspect and inaugurate Andir Retention Basin in Bandung regency. The President will also inaugurate three other infrastructures, namely the Cieunteung Retention Basin, the Cisangkuy Floodway, and the Kopo Flyover.
