President Jokowi to Inaugurate Mandalika Circuit

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Friday (12/11) headed to West Nusa Tenggara Province for a working visit.

The President and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta onboard Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at around 06.30 Western Indonesia time.

Shortly after arriving at Zainuddin Abdul Majid International Airport (BIL) in Central Lombok sub-district, Lombok Island, the President is slated to visit the pit building of Mandalika Circuit in Mandalika Special Economic Zone to inspect the control room of the circuit and listen to the explanation of the circuit panel.

The President is also set to try Mandalika circuit by riding his own racing motorcycle before inaugurating the circuit and BIL-Mandalika bypass.

In the evening, the President will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit virtually from Novotel Lombok Resort and Villa. The Head of State will stay in Lombok and continue his working visit agenda the next day.

Joining the President in his working visit to West Nusa Tenggara province are Minister of State Secretariat Pratikno, Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Bahlil Lahadalia, and Presidential Special Staffer Angkie Yudistia.
