President Jokowi accompanied by several Ministers departs from Halim PK Airport, Jakarta, Monday (14/11), heading to Semarang to meet Singaporean PM Lee Hsien Loong.

Starting off activities on the third week of November, President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo accompanied by the First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo, departed from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, Jakarta by the Presidential Plane, Indonesia-1, on Monday (14/11) at 08.20 in the morning to undertake a work visit to Central Java Province.

Upon arriving at Ahmad Yani Airport, Semarang, President will directly go to Wisma Perdamaian to welcome the Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, his wife, Ho Ching and their delegates.

The Head of Bureau for Press, Media, and Information , Presidential Secretariat (Setpres) Bey Machmudin on his morning press conference mentioned that both leaders are scheduled to do a number of activities, including the Indonesia – Singapura Leaders’ Retreat Tête-á-Tête, a bilateral meeting and the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of  a cooperation between Indonesian Government and Singaporean Government.

After the luncheon, President and Prime Minister are also scheduled to inaugurate the opening of the industrial estate ‘Kendal Park By The Bay’ in Kendal, Central Java.

“On the area, President and PM Lee Hsien Loong will do some inspection before heading back to Semarang,” added Bey. President and Ibu Iriana are scheduled to return to Jakarta later this evening.

During the flight to Semarang,  President and Ibu Iriana are accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut  Binsar  Panjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Tourism Arief Yahya and Head of Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM)Thomas Lembong. (BPMI Setpres/ES) (SU/LW/Naster)
