President Jokowi to Open 2023 AIS Forum Summit

President Joko “Jokowi” Tuesday (10/10) conducted a working visit to Bali province to open the 2023 Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum Summit.

The President and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta to Bali province around at 14.30 Western Indonesian Time. Minister of State Secretary Pratikno also accompanied the President on the flight to Bali province.

Upon arrival at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung regency at around 17.00 Central Indonesian Time. President Jokowi was welcomed by Acting Governor of Bali S.M. Mahendra Jaya, Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces Yudo Margon, Chief of the Indonesian National Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Head of State Intelligence Agency Budi Gunawan, and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno.

In Bali, President Jokowi is scheduled to attend an official dinner for leaders and delegations of the 2023 AIS Forum Summit and open the Summit to be held in Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) tomorrow. (BPMI OF PRESIDENTIAL SECRETARIAT/AIT) (SS/RAS)
