Now, President Erdo?an and I want to extend our message to all of you, President Joko Jokowi Widodo said starting his video blog (vlog) uploaded on Friday afternoon, 7 July 2017.
President Jokowi is one of world leaders who is active to sent messages through social media, particularly through a vlog in his personal YouTube account.
A few months ago, the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia also made a vlog with the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz. In that vlog, both leaders looked like a close friend and this video drew attention of a number of international media agencies.
A vlog, as explained by the Head of Press, Media, and Information Bureau, Secretariat of the President, Bey Machmudin, is one of tools of diplomacy usually used by President Jokowi.
Recently, at a state visit to Turkey, on Thursday, 6 July 2017, the President also made a personal vlog with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdo?an.
The 12th President of Turkey, on behalf of the people of Turkey, extended his greeting to Indonesian people. In that video, he also wished that the solidarity of Turkey and Indonesia could be a good model for all countries in the world. With my brother, Pak Widodo, from the bottom of my heart, I extend my greeting to Indonesian people. We, the Turkish, really love you. I believe that the solidarity between Turkey and Indonesia could be a good model for all countries in the world, President Erdo?an said.
In that 3 minutes and 20 seconds video, President Jokowi stated that he has a special relations with President Erdo?an. In every international conference, both leaders always have a discussion. Moreover, President Jokowi knows that a lot of Indonesian people admire the figure of the Turkish President who started his term of office as the President of Turkey since 28 August 2014.
At the end of the video, the President of Turkey once again expressed his love to Indonesian people. He also appreciated the unity and solidarity shown by Indonesian youths which also appreciated by the world.I really love Indonesian youths who are very close with all people.
