President Jokowi Visits Bulukumba’s Cekkeng Traditional Market

On the second day of working visit in South Sulawesi province, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo visited Cekkeng traditional market in Bulukumba regency on Friday (07/05).

The public were very enthusiastic to welcome the President at the market. President Jokowi walked around and stopped by at several stalls to interact with the locals and purchased some goods.

Hasminah, one of the sellers at the market, shared her experience of meeting firsthand with the President.

“I am happy to see President Jokowi in Bulukumba,” said Hasminah with a radiant smile.

This visit was not only a priceless moment for the local vendors but also highlighted the importance of direct interaction between a nation’s leader and his people.
