President Jokowi Visits Jambi Vocational School

As part of his working visit to Jambi province, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (05/16) visited 4 Vocational High School (SMKN) in Jambi city, the provincial capital.

“I visited SMKN 4 in Jambi this morning. It is an excellent vocational high school where students can learn about pastry, makeup, fashion, and screen printing,” the President said, adding that the school also boasts excellent facilities to support learning activities.

During the visit to a fashion class, the President ordered the students to make a shirt to be sent to the State Palace.

“I ordered a white shirt from the students. The shirt will probably be ready in one month. The attire produced by the students is fashionable and has a good style,” the President said.

After inspecting learning activities in all programs for 45 minutes, the President left the school to continue the working visit. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/AIT) (RI/EP)
