As part of his working visit to West Java province, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Tuesday (07/11) visited the West Java Creative Market in Bandung.

On that occasion, President Jokowi enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere in Bandung City of Flowers at night and stopped by several local stores.

Upon arrival at around 18.45 Western Indonesian Time, Bandung residents who came to the location enthusiastically greeted the President. The President also warmly greeted the residents and immediately walked around a number of stores that sell products for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Riska, one of the shopkeepers whose store sells locally-made products from MSME owners, expressed her excitement for seeing directly the President’s support for MSME players.

“I am so happy knowing that the President is very supportive of MSMEs. He shows very positive support for us as MSMEs,” she said.

The President also took his time to drop into a food stall and bought 10 takeaway servings of Indonesian lamb fried rice.

After visiting several local stores, President Jokowi and the entourage watched an acoustic performance and was seen singing along with the band and the crowds. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (RIF/EP)
