President Jokowi Visits Riau’s Arifin Achmad Hospital

Upon arrival in Riau provincial capital of Pekanbaru for working visit, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Wednesday (01/04) is scheduled to visit the city’s Pasar Bawah traditional market.

However, along the way the President decided to visit Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital (RSUD) first.

“The President wanted to inspect the BPJS (Social Security Provider) services at the hospital,” Minister of State Secretary said to Head of the Protocol Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat M. Yusuf Permana shortly after leaving Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport.

Arriving at the hospital, President Jokowi immediately visited the class III treatment room to directly ask the patients about the BPJS services.

The President then inspected the BPJS registration process. “How is the registration service here?” asked the President to the people lining up.
