President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Monday (12/04) visited West Manggarai regency, as part of his working visit to East Nusa Tenggara province.

President Jokowi, who had just finished playing football with residents at the Wae Kesambi Football Field, joined the dancers to perform the traditional Ja’i dance.

Neli, one of the dancers, said that she was happy to meet the President. She also said that she showed the President the movement of the dance.

On that occasion, Neli expressed hope that in the future President Jokowi will revisit East Nusa Tenggara province.

Neli said that there were many other regions that President Jokowi could visit.

“If you still have time, you can visit Labuan Bajo again. Other than Labuan Bajo, there are other regions that the President could visit, including Maumere, Sikka, Nagekeo, and other regions in East Nusa Tenggara province,” Neli said. (BPMI SETPRES/AIT) (RI/MMB)
