President Jokowi Welcomes Dutch Royal Couple at Bogor Palace

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Iriana Widodo received the state visit of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands with an official welcoming ceremony at the Bogor Presidential Palace, Tuesday (10/3).

Upon arrival at the Palace, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima welcomed by President Jokowi and First Lady. Then, both countries’ national anthems were reverberated followed by inspection of troopst.

Afterwards, the two leaders introduced their respective delegations who attended the meeting, then took a group photo and signed a guest book. President Jokowi and King Willem proceeded to veranda of the palace to have a small talk, followed by a bilateral meeting and a joint press statement. (FID/EN)
