President Jokowi Welcomes His Second Grandchild

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo expressed his gratefulness for the birth of his granddaughter at YPK Mandiri Hospital, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (1/8) morning.

“Alhamdulillah, at 05.50 a.m., Bobby and Kahiyang’s daughter was born,” the President told the press at YPK Mandiri Hospital after visiting his newborn grandchild.

The daughter of the President’s second child, Kahiyang Ayu and her husband Bobby Afif Nasution is the second grandchild of President Jokowi and First Lady Ibu Iriana. The first grandchild is Jan Ethes Srinarendra from his eldest son Gibran Rakabuming and Selvi Ananda.

Bobby, who accompanied the President on the press statement added that his daughter’s weight is 3.4 kg and her length is 49 cm. Bobby also said that he and Kahiyang had not chosen a name for their daughter.

First Lady Ibu Iriana also told the press that her son in law accompanied Kahiyang during the birth process. (ANT/ES) (MMB/YM/Naster)
