President Joko ”Jokowi” Widodo on Wednesday (06/14) at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, welcomed Putri Ariani, an Indonesian singer who got the 2023 America’s Got Talent golden buzzer.

Arriving at around 14.10 Western Indonesia Time, Putri and her parents were greeted by President Jokowi in the Jepara Room.

On that occasion, President Jokowi expressed his support for Putri in the competition.

The President and Putri also talked about the competition that she would be going through. According to Putri, with the golden buzzer, she will go straight to the live show.

“After the audition, there are several stages. The golden buzzer winner goes straight to the semifinal,” she said, adding that she would return to the United States in August to continue his journey on the competition.

On that occasion, Putri also sang her original songs, namely “loneliness” and “the world’s beautiful jewel”
